Testing, repair, installation

Two things set us apart from a pure testing service: we know the devices found in studios and practices. And when a test turns something up, we fix it instead of leaving a list of defects behind.

Testing

Recurring tests to the applicable standards, documented for the employers liability insurance association and your insurer.

  • Portable equipment

    Everything you can plug in and carry away: extension leads, power supplies, devices in the treatment room, office and workshop. Tested, recorded, given a due date.

  • Fixed installations

    Distribution boards, circuits, permanently connected devices and RCDs. The installation itself is tested, not only what hangs off it.

  • Medical devices and checks

    The focus is on energy-applying devices: diode lasers, IPL, RF, ultrasound. Safety check and electrical test in a single appointment. Metrological checks (MTK) are not something we do.

  • Beauty devices

    Devices in a studio are work equipment and, depending on their classification, medical devices as well. We test both and document it so it stands up to scrutiny.

Repair and installation

Maintenance, repair and retrofitting within the existing installation. If something turns up during a test, we put it right there and then.

  • Installation repair

    Whatever is broken gets repaired or replaced: sockets, switches, luminaires, motion detectors. Maintenance of what is there, without rebuilding the installation.

  • Device repair

    Fault diagnosis, repair following manufacturer specifications, replacement of wearing parts. Afterwards it is tested, because after every repair a test is mandatory.

  • Device connection

    New device delivered, but nobody is allowed to connect it? We connect to existing supply points, test, and brief you.

  • Control cabinets

    Building, wiring, modifying and testing control and machine cabinets. With a terminal diagram and documentation that still helps in five years.

    Structured cabling, network outlets, patch panel and Wi-Fi that reaches everywhere. Every link is measured, not just terminated.

  • Security systems

    Installing, testing and keeping smoke alarms, intruder alarm technology and video surveillance within their intervals. With video, the data protection question is part of the planning.

  • Plug-in solar

    Plug-in solar devices up to 800 VA inverter output: mounting, connection, testing. Since the German Solar Package I, without registration with the network operator.

Scope

What we do not offer

We are entered in the register of skilled crafts, but not in the installer register of the network operators. Upkeep of existing installations is unaffected by this. What does not fall within our scope, however, is building new customer installations, any work at the meter panel and the metering equipment, and registration with the network operator and commissioning on our own responsibility.

For devices with manufacturer-tied maintenance, such as replacing flash lamps on IPL and laser devices or calibrating the radiation output, we coordinate the manufacturer service rather than doing the work ourselves. The metrological check under Section 14 of the German Medical Devices Operator Ordinance is likewise a separate procedure that we do not carry out.

In each of these cases we tell you openly what you need another body for. That is more honest than doing it on the side, and you know where you stand beforehand.
