What we do
You have bought a new device. There it stands, the box is open, and nobody in the building wants to take responsibility for connecting it. That is exactly what this appointment is for.
- Connection to the existing supply point, whether plug connection or permanent connection
- A test before first use, as required by the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health
- Inclusion in your device documentation with a label and the next due date
- A briefing on the points that matter for safety: emergency stop, protective devices, what to do in the event of a fault
For medical devices, the briefing under the German Medical Devices Operator Ordinance is added, in so far as it follows on from the technical side. The application-related briefing remains a matter for the manufacturer.
Who it is for
Practices and studios that regularly acquire new devices. Catering and hotels replacing kitchen equipment. Workshops and offices replacing machines or technology.
What we do not take on
If a supply point has to be created for your new device first, meaning a new supply cable, a dedicated circuit or a change in the distribution board, that lies outside our scope. We tell you so when you enquire, so that you do not arrange the appointment for nothing.

Final prices, no VAT charged under the German small business scheme. Billed per hour.

- Travel within a 15 km radius is free of charge, beyond that 0.90 € per kilometre.
FAQ
Questions about this service
What does "to existing supply points" mean?
The supply point is already there: a socket, a cooker connection, a supply cable with suitable protection. We connect the device to it properly, test and document. If a new supply point has to be created first, a firm entered in the installer register is responsible.
Why not simply plug it in ourselves?
With a device on a standard plug you can. For permanently connected devices, for three-phase supplies and for anything applied to people, connection by a qualified electrical specialist (Elektrofachkraft) is the safe route. A test before first use is required in any case.
Does the new device get a test label straight away?
Yes. We carry out the test before first commissioning at the same appointment. The device goes straight into your ongoing documentation with a report, a label and an entry in the schedule of due dates.
