What has to be settled before video
A camera is quickly mounted, and that is exactly the problem. Before installation, the purpose, the area covered, the retention period and the signage all need to be settled. Treatment rooms, changing rooms and sanitary areas stay out of it.
We plan the technology so that it fits that assessment, rather than simply installing what is asked for. The data protection assessment itself is yours to make as the responsible body; we supply the technical basis for it.

Questions about this service
Do smoke alarms in commercial premises have to be inspected annually?
DIN 14676 provides for a recurring inspection at intervals of no more than twelve months, with a permitted window of plus or minus three months. We add these dates to the same schedule as your device tests, so that it stays one list rather than becoming three.
Are we allowed to film our reception area?
Video surveillance in areas open to the public is permitted but tied to conditions: a legitimate interest, no milder means available, a notice sign before the area covered, a limited retention period, an entry in the record of processing activities. Treatment rooms and changing rooms are off limits. We plan the alignment accordingly; the data protection assessment itself remains your task.
Do you connect the system to an alarm receiving centre?
No. We install, wire and test. Connection to an alarm receiving centre and the contract with it run directly between you and the operator of that centre.
Can you take over an existing system?
If documentation exists and the components are still on the market, yes. We survey what is there, test the function and tell you what should be replaced. For systems without any documentation, new planning can be cheaper than working out what is installed.
